Research
Dr. Badran’s Ph.D. project examined metabolic changes after surgical subcutaneous fat removal during body contouring surgeries that tackles the physical manifestations of obesity. His research interest includes clinical and translational research in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly mechanistic studies underpinning the link between obesity, insulin resistance, inflammation, and adipocyte dysfunction.
