St. Louis man recovering following life-changing surgery

Washington University plastic surgeon Kamlesh Patel, MD, used 3-D printing technology to plan a surgery that helped a man with Apert syndrome, a genetic birth disorder that causes the bones in the head, face, hands and feet to fuse together abnormally.
