Clinical Interests

Dr. Felder became interested in plastic surgery after being treated for a traumatic injury as a teenager. His clinical interests stem from this experience and are focused on adult and child reconstructive surgery following trauma or cancer.  This includes reconstruction for injuries of the hand, upper extremity and face, as well as reconstruction of complex wounds in any part of the body.  Dr. Felder has a special interest in peripheral nerve surgery, including nerve transfers to restore function to the injured limb or for brachial plexus injury, and microsurgery including flaps and replantation of severed parts. Additionally, Dr. Felder has an interest in peripheral nerve surgery to treat chronic pain following nerve injury and the surgical treatment of migraine headaches.
