Research and Career Interests: Dr. Parikh is an integrated plastic surgery resident and clinical research fellow. His research and academic development time are supported by a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Ruth L. Kirschstein Institutional National Research Service Award. Dr. Parikh recently completed a master of population health sciences degree at Washington University School of Medicine and is currently investigating health disparities, value-based healthcare delivery, surgical outcomes and surgical treatment decision-making in the breast cancer population. In medical school, he was a Silbiger Grant recipient for research concentrating on surgical outcomes following breast reconstruction. His clinical interests are in reconstructive surgery for cancer patients and microvascular reconstructive techniques.
